The Well Aware Program of the Conservation Corps Newfoundland and Labrador is providing ‘Friendly Visits’ to homeowners in the Northeast Avalon region during July and August 2008. Participants will receive friendly one-on-one reviews of their well and septic system.  This will include proper maintenance, potential problems, information about water testing, and helpful tips for water conservation.

All participants in the program will receive a free household water conservation kit valued at $65.  There is a maximum number of Friendly Visits available on a first come-first serve basis, however, so those interested should sign up as soon as possible.
